I saw him perform this on Jimmy Fallon's show a couple of weeks ago. It was an interesting interview and performance!
Had a couple Zep albums growing up but I was never a fan of the screeching singers - Chalk on a blackboard for me.
I actually like him better now and you have to hand it to him - He is one of only a handful of artists that has been able to still be relevant 40 years on.

Think about it. This is a guy with a 3-4 octave range who hasn't let age slow him down, but has adapted his material to the limitations of an aged voice. I read a long time ago in Rolling Stone where the jazz glitterati, including Miles, went to see one of Louis Armstrong's last recording sessions. No, Louis couldn't sing with the gusto and bravado of his youth, but held everyone spellbound with his phrasing. Plant is one of the very best of the past generation. Props.

I'm always amazed he even still has a singing voice after that brief but gut-wrenching scream in Communication Breakdown about 100 years ago.

Saw him last week in Zürich. The band is excellent, Plant's voice is still smooth and instantly recognizable.
