I needed something to eat
I took a walk down the street
I came to 318
Saw my sweet Magdalene

Magdalena, you're the meanest, oh
Magdalena, you're the meanest, oh
Magdalena, sweet Magdalene

I went down deep in her hive
One year just turned into five
Night came and then it was gone
How did you get so strong

Magdalena, just between us, oh
You're the meanest, and the leanest, oh
Magdalena, how'd you get so strong

Magdalena, Magdalena, oh
Magdalena, Magdalena, oh
Magdalena

And then we started to drag
Me and my Maggie-mag-mag
I begged her please no no no
She said she got to go go go go go go

Magdalena, just between us, oh
You're the meanest, Magdalena, oh
Magdalena, you're the meanest, oh
Magdalena, Magdalena, oh
Magdalena, Magdalena

You know what that means, Rockit Man!
that intro groove is very present in where the river flows by collective soul
EXCELLENT  Even though I had heard of them, I had not actually heard them, prior to RP. Now, I like several of their tunes! Thanx RP!
GOOD TUNE!

As a closet punk I couldn't agree more

What a nice gift that you give us with this new site. Music + information + lyrics is all i need. Congratulations.
I am from Brazil, heart of the world, homeland of spiritism.

Kisses and plenty love.
Many goodies on this album.
Pixies!!!  Black Francis, not to be confused with Frank Black.  You should hear this on a pair of Magico's S7 cranked to 11.
I always expect this to be Soundgarden from the opening chords....

Ohhhhh my black Francis alias Franck Black {#Sunny}
My take is that History Will Be Kind to them! and what a unique, slightly (or more than) slightly mad-sounding Sound they had! BRAVO!
I really love this song.
awesome - what rockin song
Love their sound
I happened to see these guys at the very last gig they did in their previous incarnation and was less than impressed. It was all about attitude, noise, volume and prancing along the U2 thrust stage.
This is less pretentious and  may be the start of a new direction.

Why did I rate a 6?
Its at least a 7, no an 8.

Why did rate it —?
It's at best a -2, if not a -5.
Is it the new white noise of the 21st century to test loudspeakers holding loads?

Love it!
Bumping from 6 -> 7. I have to, because this song made me check out who it was..
                                                   Magdelena is the meanest
                                      Now she's flipping thru pages in some book
                                       She got it  from an antique store in bargain.
                                          She finds her desired lethal weapon
                                               And spills ''Shadenfreude' out
                                            I'm supposed to make solo an oh !
        I've a bad, bad feeling she'll be bending and, making up some more of her rules.
cool tune 8 )

It's growing on me. Certainly more Planet of Sound era than Surfer Rosa.
Spacey.

 opening riff  sounded like a sample of a Collective Soul song
Big FAT 9 for me!
My fave of the current Pixies crop, but I can't imagine wanting to listen to it 20 years from now.
Is this new?

Sounds a bit Queens of the Stone Age-ish... was it produced by Josh Homme by any chance? or is it older than that?
Liking this one more and more.
Nice.
Yes, goes down smooth and tasty ... happy, happy to hear new Pixies.
I LIKEEE LOTS  KISS KISS HUGS TO ALL {#Cool}{#Bananajam}
I join the delighted chorus: new Pixies! And I'm even more delighted at the new album's name, Indie Cindy! {#Hearteyes}

Que música massaaaa!!!
I've always found triplets to be engaging and quirky, and the background triplets on this number really make it stand out above the usual rocky ground, IMO. 8 from the Nottingham jury.
Excellant Radio DJ!  I am rockin    -  woo-hoo
Well what do you know! A new Pixies song and it's quite likable.
Agreed Biscobret - The new stuff has been nice after such a long layoff and translated well live.
They actually looked like they were having fun...

{#Yes}
Great song!  I was a little apprehensive about new Pixies music - it's been a while, and the idea seemingly made Kim leave - but both EPs are fantastic.  Translated great live, too.  Not loudQUIETloud - but great none-the-less.

A++

Promising - great to hear some new Pixies....a "6" for now
