Fell like a crippled crow, spinning through and breaking branches
I'm in a bad way. Call my friends, they'll know what to do
I'm a better friend than I've ever been a lover
And that's not saying much, but I'm not saying much today

In this cellular age phone sex is too expensive
Not as handsome as my brother, but I've been lucky with disease
And yes, I'm a better friend than I've ever been a lover
And that's not saying much, but I'm not saying much today

And I'm not saying much today

I think the vocal track has been processed through some sort of vibrato effect or something. Kind of like Tommy James in Crimson and Clover.

Lazarus took the words right out of my mouth.

Accidentely rated this song. As I do not want to rate songs, that are not at least a 7 for me, I'd like to reset the rating to none again. But it does not work using the android app. Tge select box always jumps back to the previous value. So I set it to 5 now...
Like listening to a radio station that is not quite tuned in.
Reminds me that I have this CD.
Should give it a listen again.
7.
Shame on me... Each time I here the voice of this man I feel a uncontrollable attraction. Very hormonal.
 "Lucky with Disease"  :)

It's a collection of B-sides most of which are further evidence of how amazing this band is. Most bands would kill to be able to put out songs like this as A sides. Also consider that they wrote and recorded a couple of them as far back as 1999/2000 when they were in their early 20s and just starting to get some notice.

i'm definitely going to have to get this! elbow are one of my favs.
The lyrics amuse me.
I think I'll have to give the song a listen or two more before I try to rate it.
