I'm asking you tonight, to step into the moonlight, the better to see ya
All the stars that heard the sound gathered 'round, 'cause they all wanna be ya
All the bells that ring, and all the birds that sing are singing out for ya
And every breeze that blows, when it blows ya, seems to adore ya
(where'd you' come from)
Just come a little closer now
Come a little closer ,now come
I put this rose, under your pretty nose and all the other roses got jealous
Sayin' "what a shame, we don't even know your name, please tell us"
I suppose you'll never disclose, what you're hiding from view
But if your open, love will find its way into you
And if you need some, you know that i got some
Just come a little closer now
Just come a little closer now
Just come a little closer , now come
Just come a little closer , now come
Just come a little closer , now come
Now all the clocks, put their hands together and stop, just to watch you walk past
Just come a little closer now
Just come a little closer now
Just come a little closer now
Just come a little closer now
Just come a little closer now
Just come a little closer, now come
come a little closer, now come

I AGREE!!!
Give "Draw A White Line" off of the band's 2015 release "Calling All the Youth" a spin.
Delete the ringing telephone, please.
i'm having a very "meh" reaction to this...
New To me ! Love the Funky backbone to a 60s/70s classic rock facade
Have seen these guys live in small venues a few times (Hamilton) and in a dense crowd 10 feet from Gordie as he did his thing. Very fond memories - these guys are tight. Great driving guitar and this song is a great example.

That organ chord isn't too repetitive.
At least it does change a couple times.
I do like this tune, but the keyboards could be a little more dynamic.
chunky n groovy

easy 8
Love his voice
Bassist Gary Lowe was amazing. Sadly he passed...
It's that rhythm guitar that gives it the powerful groove. Bass and drums too of course. Well done, whoever y'all are.
I’d like to hear a Lenny Kravitz remake of this. I think his voice and vibe would really mesh well with this song
chunky n groovy

Big Sugar is an awesome band, so glad they got back together. I give this a 10 partly because its a 10 and partly because of all the fun times and great shows I remember at the Bamboo Club in Toronto when I was "of that age" and could stay out all nite doing the Queen St West scene....

I agree with what you say Misterbearbaby, and it is still 1972 with me too
Having been born the very year Alan Freed began popularizing the phrase "rock and roll" to describe the music he played on WWJ in Cleveland, I grew up with 66 years of rock-n'-whatever. My report: everything has been done. This tune is amongst the everything that's been done and hence it seems to this Bear a bit boring and redundant. Maybe I'm getting old and **jaded** It doesn't mean they're bad— I'm pretty sure I'd be rockin' out at the roadhouse with these guys (after few beers)... I do however observe that there might be 10 gazillion more interesting cuts out there to adorn the cyber-waves. Take for example the next tune Bill played: "Que Te Parece, Cholita" by Charlie Musselwhite. Now that is worth burning some photons to send me.

As a proud Canuck I've been fortunate to see these guys at least 6 times. Whether in a bar, an auditorium or outdoor festival it has always been great, and they have a reputation for being one of the loudest bands around. By the end of a show you are physically drained from the constant jumping around and mentally drained by the musical onslaught. Guitarist Gordie Johnson is a national treasure, and leads this reggae rock outfit with style. Also, he was in the Southern band from Texas known as Grady.
sounds vaguely like Billy Gibbons of ZZTop.
Not really loving this song.

Let us know when your authentic, utterly non-derivative band releases its first single, okay?
They have that clean, modern sound- totally empty, utterly derivative. It's as if they said "Let's form a band and copy Paul Butterfield songs in an unskilled, soulless style!" You can't tell if they're a bunch of studio hacks, or an actual band that has been overproduced and engineered sound JUST LIKE a bunch of studio hacks. Ugh.

Ugh.

Cheap shot.
Ebbe ! It was Sirene's plastic idea as by now
I knew she'd say 'use a grain of salt.'
Not that I expected any sea legs.
Sure, it can mean a mad parade as her sitting tight
On the rock will be just another urban word smith.
Wait until you hear our vice-chairman
Telling us the next myth
But what did I know ?
Stay put on another leg shows.
So soon the tide flows.
I reign over her revenge she says little
Go to UTube and searching for two of these doing the national anthems at the Ottawa Senators hockey game. Lot of people were scratching their heads saying WTF. I loved it.

Yeah, baby! These guys grab me with the first note. Nicely distorted growl on that rhythm guitar! (Just noticed the background organ that sounds like a '90s telephone ring ... whew, that's good!)
Awesome!...ands then to Muddy waters...respect!
sweet!
Big Sugar followed by Dust Bowl? It's Friday Night in Paradise!!
ZZ Top before they sucked.
Now, that's better !
