If I was to expire on a day like this
Then pay no heed at all
Returned again, my secret fire
From confusion trails
To death's own roll call
And you know that I don't know what to do
But I could wait a thousand years or more
Settled in to the point where I...
Don't know what the hell I'm waiting for
It's my time to be waiting
Locked down, chained in the hole
But when my waiting is done
I'm gonna give it a whirl
Again, try to rewire
The connections of your tired machine
Well, you know you've been a liar
A good for nothing two-faced go-between
It's my time to be waiting
Locked down, chained in the hole
But when my waiting is done
I'm gonna give it a whirl
Then pay no heed at all
Returned again, my secret fire
From confusion trails
To death's own roll call
And you know that I don't know what to do

He sounds like Nick Cave.
Generally speaking See key hence
Yes lineup, I see quiet, earn me. fly away
And basta with pasta.

VOICE FIRST-! Then you can quibble about style and song choice.
I haven't heard a better male voice doing raw male emotions in a long-long time. Only wish we coul get his work here in USA for better prices.., hard to justify buying multiple copies to give as gifts, just now.
If you like this (song) you might want to search out some Jackie Leven, of whom this strongly reminds me.

Even just his voice is enough. But he has the power of the lyrics, the rhytm.. everything as well.

At least try to make the song interesting. Maybe a new verse, or a new chorus or something. Re-verb guitar doesn't count.
This guy needs to go to song school.

This is the part where I pee on your begonias: Boring...repetitive...monotonous

The guitar partially redeems this song, but I would rather hear the real Neil.
brings me to tears...really.......from pain.....could be worse though..at least it's not leonard cohen or radiohead
kicks ass, love the fuzzy guitar at high volume
Sivert is a real talent.

The noisy distorted guitar work counters his voice really well on this.

and I thought this is dave wyndorf's new side project...
exact same voice, but usually sorrounded by a lot more RnR

Sivert Hoyem. Thanks again for this peace of Music!
Madrugada in the Morning, Madrugada at Midday, Madrugada in the Evening, Madrugada at Night.
As long as this voice stays. As long as we remember Burås.
You splitt up on my Birthday. You released your new Album on my Birthday. All good. Thanks.

Would that I could get scrod as they say in the pluperfect subjunctive.
Sivert, that's "if I were to expire". Otherwise another good song from you, though I prefer the ones where your voice is near-subsonic and scary.
That was a message from the Society for the Preservation of the Subjunctive in English. We now return you to your usual sucks/blows/rocks comments :o)

Very nice. I'd know that voice anywhere.
Yes, a little.
