I know a girl who's like the sea
I watch her changing every day for me
Oh yeah
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

One day she's still, the next she swells
You can hear the universe in her sea shells
Oh yeah
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

No, no line on the horizon, no line

I know a girl with a hole in her heart
She said infinity is a great place to start
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

She said "Time is irrelevant, it's not linear"
Then she put her tongue in my ear
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

No, no line on the horizon
No, no line
No, no line on the horizon
No, no line

The songs in your head are now on my mind
You put me on pause
I'm trying to rewind and replay

Every night I have the same dream
I'm hatching some plot, scheming some scheme
Oh yeah
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

I'm a traffic cop, rue du Marais
The sirens are wailing but it's me that wants to get away
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

No line on the horizon
No, no line
No, no line on the horizon
No, no line

I really miss the Brian Eno's era of U2....
Achtung Baby come back!!!

I think this is cheap pop. Come on Bono, you can do it better
I think they need to go away for a while to "dream it all up again"
BWA-HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

OMG i hated U2 enough before i heard this..

they're always trying to be something else, aren't they? ..then again, that is the definition of a pop band.. writing songs you hope other people will like...

Unofficial transcript of pre-production meeting between U2 and record company —

Exec: "OK, these Kings of Leon guys are off the charts with that album that's getting all that play... you guys need something that really ROCKS just like them until you start recording that next movie soundtrack.."

Bono: "OK."

Exec: "Alright. Well, just call me if there's anything you guys need."

Bono was pretty cool till that stunt with the teenager.  I hope he made very nice with his wife after that!  What a pitiful fall from grace.
Betcha Bono will pop a few veins doing this one live.

Not sure it's worth it ...

Old guys are sounding old.  First time I've ever given U2 a low rating.
Old guys rule!
Ahhh...... rating: 4 + 3 U2 bonus = 7 points {#Tongue}

Just kidding... it's between a 6 and 7 for me, and I also think it might grow on me, like many U2 songs do after a while. Other U2 tracks are an instant hit with me {#Smile}
Bono sounds awful on this track, and the album in general. I can't figure out what happened. He sounds like he's trying to affect his voice to have a certain sound, rather than just his natural voice. This is a rookie kind of mistake - just not sure what he/the producer was thinking here.
Um, no Bono... no.
LOVE THIS ALBUM!!{#High-five} Another home run for U2 & RP

I think this one might grow on me.  Need a couple more listens.

First of all, play the freakin' album version.  This version is terrible.
Second, play the NEXT TRACK ("Magnificent")!!!

Please don't let this turn you off of the album.  It actually is quite good.

Yes on all counts! {#High-five}
Why did they select this name for the album, anyway? It's probably the weakest track on the album. The rest of it is really very good, especially "Magnificent."

I wouldn't have guesses U2 either. It's pretty darned good.

I thought Perry Farrell. That's a good thing.

Like the album version much better than this B-side version of the track.

This is awful.

One thing I wish RP would get it together on:
Accurate release dates for LPs / CDs...
This one lists "3/3/09" ?
Often the "release date" is the CD issue date, not the year the "album" came out....

Just a pet peeve...

3/3/09 is actually correct in this case. The album was leaked early and RP aired the songs before the official date.
What? is this what I'm listening to now? Really?
Well, that wasn't very good, was it...

Me too!!

Is this Bono??? really?

I haven't been on lately, but based on the date that this was first played, I suspect this is the version thats B-Side to Get on your Boots.
The album version is different (for better or for worse).

At this point, I'm undecided on the album.  I'm certainly not convinced it's worth of the five star review that Rolling Stone is giving it (the first time they've ever gotten 5 upon release).

However, it might be the 3rd time in a row that they've called a U2 album a masterpiece (despite both being inferior to the massively underrated Pop).

I thought this was Kings of Leon at first {#Eek}
wow...I thought it was a new cut from Kings of Leon...that's Bono huh?
Uninspired. Uninspiring.
Love it!!! Much better than 'The Boots' song. Wow, high vocal for Bono - guess the old man still got it.

Hmmmm ... after reading reviews I expected better ....  a bit one-dimensional ..
Didn't recognize this as U2.
Clearly, they are attempting a different approach.  A re-invention?  It's okay.  Nothing all that special.  Almost contrived.
No! Sleep! Till Brooklyn!

LOL
Wow. First time I've been the first to rate (and comment) on a song.

An initial 7 from me. Definitely a little better than "Get on your boots".
