It has never been this quiet
And we have never seen a storm
Though you really made things quiet
I think I will stay calm

'Cause I can't move the slightest finger
Let alone raise my hand
I'm sure we lived like lovers
But you dreamt of becoming a happier man

And I can't tell what I had chosen
If no choices of this kind can be made
I was happy for a long time
But that's not what I feel today

It has never been this dreamlike
And we have never seen a ghost
Though you are bringing me a nightmare
It's not what frightens me the most

You make me go through my visions
And what it was that we achieved
You make me ransack love for it's goodness
And if love ever leads to harmony
If love ever leads to harmony

GTT, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Not so scraig, The Cochrane Review, probably the highest regarded scientific organization in the world, came out with a thoroughly investigated review of masking and concluded, as many critics were saying all along, that masks did very little if anything to stop the spread of Covid. Yes there was a benefit to them, but it was very little, only in close up situations, which is the reason why, as you or someone else on this thread pointed out the medical profession has been using them for decades, but only for close up examinations and surgeries, to stop spit. That's all they do in regards to the spread of Covid, which for the most part is transmitted by microscopically small viral particles that float around indoors where someone is shedding the virus, and the masks DO NOT STOP. Not only that but there is loads of proof as to the deleterious effects of using them the way in which most of us were using them, repeatedly day after day, or as children were forced to in public schools, with snot and phlegm coating the insides of them—very unhealthy. The medical profession is mandated to use them only once, and there after they are regarded as toxic waste and are disposed of in the hazardous waste bins in clinics.
If you don’t like Van’s voice switch to a different site and let those of us who appreciate his kind of music enjoy. Black people slaves mostly used to sing about God and praise him and ask for his care. This did not mean they were all religious. What is wrong with people since Trump’s Far Right nut jobs started whining about everything a whole lot of you are doing it too. Try and control yourselves and try to only post your option once so we all don’t have to put up with it …PLEASE!

Great guitar.  Lousy voice.  Can you say aspirated!?  Try singing Sophie.

Oh man, you are missing her point.

I'd love her whispering in my ear all night long...
Not my cup of tea !!
I like "Once" off the "Sing and dance" album much better. The duet with Freddie Wadling makes up for her hushed voice.

Cute voice, nice butterfly, dull song {#Sleep}

In my opinion not a lot of diversity in the content coming off of her work.  Many songs have the same cadence and hushed vocals.

I think I like this version of Jewel better!

More poetic and less teeth-gnashing yodel.

Never heard the rest of her stuff but I like this tune.

I really like!  This has a great, easy sound that complements this snowy Colorado morning perfectly.  Ahhh...

Not bad.
We already had one Jewel.

Thanks, but no thanks.
meh
Never heard of her, and this is pretty good.
First!

AMG sez:  "With no musical background and without ever having performed in public, Zelmani rose to the top of the charts with her debut album. In spite of being known as very shy, she soon reached an audience all over Europe and Asia with her tender singer/songwriter country."
