Don't you wanna rain dance with me?
Don't you wanna rain dance with me?
Don't you wanna rain dance with me?
Don't you wanna rain dance with me?

Fifi said to Don the Baker
"Can you show me how to bake another bun, Don?"
And I'm still sittin' with my next door neighbour sayin'
"Where'd you get the gun, John?"

Don't you wanna rain dance with me?
Don't you wanna rain dance with me?
Don't you wanna rain dance with me?
Don't you wanna rain dance with me?

Christopher was askin' the astronomer
"Can your telescope tell me where the sun's gone?"
And I'm still sittin' with my next door neighbour sayin'
"Where'd you get the gun, John?"

Don't you wanna rain dance with me?
Don't you wanna rain dance with me?
Don't you wanna rain dance with me?
Don't you wanna rain dance with me?

Changin' just a few things
Laughin' while the bell rings on the go
Changin' just a few things
Shootin' when the bird sings

Changin' just a few things
Laughin' while the bell rings on the go
Changin' just a few things
Shootin' when the bird sings

Don't you wanna rain dance with me?
Don't you wanna rain dance with me?
Don't you wanna rain dance with me?
Don't you wanna rain dance with me?

Not complaining at all, but Bill does seem to play a lot of Canadian music. Just curious as to why? :-)

Because Canada Rocks!!
super talented band...I always enjoyed them
1971 - my first LP was the Guess Who's 'Canned Wheat' - bought with money from my 11th birthday at the hardware store in Minden Ontario.
Alright, now I've more than (1) Guess Who song!
Always impressed how much music from Canada Bill plays.
Bill, any connection to Canada?
Not much of a fan but, the album title and cover art are worth something. And the nostalgia.

Haven't heard this since it was a "new release"! Thanks, Bill and Rebecca. My thoughts to your friends and family in Paradise.

Me too.  I do like the tune, but the lyrics don't do much for me.

Simply because there are a lot of great Canadian artists:
Bruce Cockburn
Leonard Cohen
Robbie Robertson
Joni Mitchell
Guess Who
Daniel Lanois
Tragically Hip
Rush
Alanis Morissette
Gordon Lightfoot
Jeff Healey
Neil Young
Steppenwolf (Yes, Steppenwolf. They started in Toronto)
Cowboy Junkies
Crash Test Dummies
Arcade Fire
Bare Naked Ladies
Diana Krall

Then a few I shouldn't mention in this company: Bryan Adams, Celine Dion, Justin Bieber, Shania Twain (Between them those first four have sold about half a billion records), Trooper, Loverboy, Avril Lavigne, Michael Buble

Yep. I'm Canadian, and proud of it!

Blue Collar was by BTO. Love that song, too. Randy Bachman's guitar talents are overlooked because of his association with BTO.

Also hearing this for the first time and I agree 100% with kcar. I have their Rockin LP and it is chock full of great songs that never reached the airwaves.
Today seems to be 1971 day.

This is the third in a few hours - at least!

Nothing wrong with that :)

Once again, better CanCon from Bill than from any station north of the border...

Well said.  BYW, for those who wonder what we are talking about, "Canadian Content" rules for radio broadcasting originated when a Windsor radio station was playing almost 100 % motown.  Our communist government did not like such scandalous stuff.

 nice car.. {#Cool}
