You've got a way with words
You've got a way that makes me feel so complicated
Your message meets the floor
The horizon meets your horse and your deliberated
I'm only clearing my throat
Don't you ever wish for just one thing that you might never see
Don't you ever wish for just one thing that you might never know
You might never know
You've got a way with words
You've got a way that makes me feel so complicated
A wall keeps you from me
You'd raise the door just so you could find the key
The wolves are waiting
Don't you ever wish for just one thing that you might never see
Don't you ever wish for just one thing that you might never know
You might never know
I'm underground
As the words just spin around
And you hunt them down
Try to pin them to the ground
There'll be no sound
As the words just tumble out
And you won't be found by the time you've hit the ground
You've got a way with words [x3]
Don't you ever wish for just one thing that you might never see
Don't you ever wish for just one thing that you might never know
Oh you might never know
(don't you ever wish for, don't you ever wish for)
You might never know
You might never know
(don't you ever wish for, don't you ever wish for)
Oh, you might never know
You've got a way that makes me feel so complicated
Your message meets the floor
The horizon meets your horse and your deliberated
I'm only clearing my throat
Don't you ever wish for just one thing that you might never see

Saw her supporting the temper trap at Leeds O2 academy, she sounds so much better live!

Sounds fresh and full of energy! Nice!

This is the kind of cool, different music I come to RP for.

We are much privileged to have a cool Husky-mix, who's name is Blasko. . .
Named after Rob "Blasko" Nicholson . . .
Is it just me or am I hearing Radiohead -
Cute and nice, but no grip for me. Same thing when I saw her play at Golden Plains...glad to see Aussie muso's getting some airplay though. Have heard Nick Cave, Augie March and Gotye on here a few times...
Nina Persson with a cold?

Take it from me, a new dad. I get all the crying I need without hearing this.

So many negative comments, I felt I had to add something positive. I love this woman's voice, and the piano background really adds a visceral chill to the chorus. Yet another fine thing to come out of Sweden - more singers like this and the Swedes might eventually gain forgiveness for inflicting Abba on an unsuspecting world :o). 8 from the Nottingham jury.

Eva who? This is crrrrrrap.
Why not follow this with Spoon's "Don't You Evah"?

I was thinking the same thing. Allison backed by the Cardigans...

Does the fact that this is the only track played on RP indicate that this is the only worthy song on it?
Probably. And calling this track worthy might be a tad optimistic.
I must dedicate this one to Lotta L. In lovely Linkoping
Bill said she's from Sweden? Um...

Starts with a 6 for the snooze-worthy song. Minus 1 for the album cover, which looks like a Sephora catalog. Minus 3 for the deplorable spelling of the song title. Final rating: 2.
I agree about the spelling. She should have gone ahead and added some 2s, 4s or maybe even a "z" in place of an "s" while she was at it.
This is not quite there yet. Potential, but trite (so far)

Yes, I'm bored...
So I'm thinking you deserve to subsist on the rations the capitalist system is willing to give to you...spamNrice. Enjoy.

Bill, did i hear you correctly? Sweden?
"Sarah Blasko first began singing in the pews of a church, flanked on one side by her tone-deaf mother, and on the other by an eighty-year-old soprano unafraid to flaunt her vocal chops. Perhaps it was amongst these congregations that the influence of music seeped into her subconscious. For Sarah Blasko was conceived the youngest missionary in the French-speaking paradise of Reunion Island, before her parents returned home to Sydney, Australia."
I WISH FOR MORE OF HER MUSIC I already bought this tune

Your message meets the floor.
(that song lyrics link near the rating box is really great - I've just found it recently).

"Your Messerschmidt's on the floor..."?
that's always worth a few points for sure . . . .

Another winner, Bill!
That was very nice !!
You should hear her cover of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Amazing.
Bill - thanks for playing so much Aussie music.
Nice melancholic chord changes, reminds me of Anathema... hate the hip-hop title spelling though.
Nice tune! Thanks for the introduction, Bill!
If it makes me look up from my work to see the artist that is a sure sign I like it.. will have to check out more of her stuff...
First time hearing this...very nice. Gonna buy this one.

I could be wrong, but all of Sinead O'Connor's songs with titles like this were written by Prince?
Back to Sarah's song, I had to lower it from 6 to 5 on my second hearing...

I like this very much. I was posting and missed what came between this and Bjork "Bachelorette", but this (SB to Buhjork) is a great connection in itself IMO. Answer: oz., post less and we would all be relieved.

Hold something up to cover one half of her face at a time. Now look at the other side. One face hates you and the other just has a haughty contempt. In a good way though.

Good point, but then shouldn't Commander Bush be called DubU?

Spelling "you" as "U" makes Ms. Blasko seem as educated as Fitty Cent or Britney Spears.
It irks me.

I saw this CD at Best Buy yesterday and thought "hmmm, I wonder if I've heard this on the LRC" since the name seemed familiar.
It IS nice to hear her. Now I'll probably have to go back and get that.
