I'm a seasick sailor on a ship of noise
I got my maps all backwards and my instincts poisoned
In a truth blown gutter full of wasted years
Like blown-out speakers ringin' in my ears

Oh, it's nausea, oh nausea
And we're gone
It's nausea, oh nausea
And we're gone

Now I'm a straight-line walker in a black-out room
I push a shopping cart over in an Aztec ruin
With my minion fingers working for some God
Who could see his own reflection in a parking lot

Oh, it's nausea, oh nausea
And we're gone
No it's nausea, oh nausea
And we're gone

Now I'm a priest teenager on a tower of dust
I'm a dead generator in a cloud of exhaust
I eat alone in the desert with skulls for my pets
I rate the days, one to ten with lead cigarettes

Oh, it's nausea, oh nausea
And we're gone
Nausea, oh nausea
And we're gone

I love Becks music usually, but this track is just not doing any thing for me
Me too! Beck's one of my all-time favorites, but this is one of his very worst songs. Terrible. Please play almost anything else by Beck but not this!

Beck is usually on my peripheral as far as music goes. This is rather typical of him, the eccentricity of it anyway. But he did this on SNL a couple of weeks ago. The other members of the band sat at a table fully set with dishes and a fake turkey. They banged on everything. It was percussion heaven! Not to mention the puppets with matching outfits...
I might like it better with the visual. As it stands alone, not so much.

By far the high point of this (I was gonna say tune) cut.
I always love Beck tunes right up to the moment he starts to "sing".
For Beck that was really good. Most of their stuff had me running for the hils.
I wasn't sure if this would grow on me for while, but happily I think I'm well on my way to loving this. Go Beck!
Has Beck been listening to Cake? Dream Team!
That's a new way to pronounce nausea...
Way to shake things up RP! True eclectism.

I love Becks music usually, but this track is just not doing any thing for me........I've heard it a bunch of times too and keep wanting it to grow on me but it just isn't.....oh well......
Jim, is that you? Come knockin on our door this morning? COOL
i'd chill with beck on a ship of noise any day. - good track.
There aren't many times I'd rather be listening to nothing, but this is one of them. Pass the earplugs please. Oh, and I see your and raise you a

Um...this is on rotation at LEAST once a day!! Could we knock it down lower on the playlist a bit please?
With the exception of the last song, this whole album is fantastic. Definitely worth purchasing.
Only Beck could come up with a creative way (and catchy too) to sing about an ill feeling!
Another great song from this artist.
The name of the song explains my reaction...
low fi and super rhythmic - it's beck for crissakes - whatcha expect. this is good stuff.
This sounds like Beck on open mic night, drunk and
Whatsamatta Beck? No inspiration except for regurgitation? How sad. 5 -- I'm feeling generous.
Not a bad song, but it seems to be on here quite a-bit.
So fun, I love it, makes me wanna dance around my office all silly like.
Aptly named tune.
Aw, crap, maybe I'm in a bad mood, but this sounds like Collective Soul. And that's not a good thing. I'll give it another shot, maybe it'll improve.

Yeah, that's a good description... nausea.
Wild man!
The Jim Morrison reference was a joke, right.....what is it with Bill and Beck, anyway. When I look through the playlist, it seems that two hours can't go by without a Beck song. Granted, he's good (I haven't heard a song that rates below a 5), but give it a rest for a while, OK? Please?

No kidding. I just lowered this from a 2 to a 1. I'm sorry there's nowhere lower for it to go.
Sounds a little like Jim Morrison at his peak.
Nausea
Yeah, that's a good description... nausea.

On the contrary, I say, "bring on the Beck!!" This new album sounds great, although I really love the sound on Guero.
Sweet! My fave tune from the new album so far.

Much better than the other tracks I've heard from this album on RP.
WARNING: Bectionary Required
New Beck already?? Nice.
Love BECK. Play any song, any album any time!

Sounds like another solid effort, quick on the heels of Guero -- great album.
Quick on the heels, but not quick in the making...apparently it took three years to put together...I hope the whole album sounds like that much time was put into it.
Awesome!!!
