Fluffy Lucy she's not fluffy
Everybody says, she's got it easy
But she's dark, straight to her soul
She's got the kind of trouble
That it's hard to tell another
Because they think that you're jaded, or you're spoiled
Well dirty Daisy she's not crazy
Everybody called her a loon
But she's just another sweet dark fruit
She's got the kind of trouble
That it's hard to tell another
Cause they think that you're jaded or you're spoiled
So lay down your head
Lay down your heart
Come lay down, in my bed
And I won't tell a soul
So wake in the morning
You kick me in the ass
You say you're glad to see me
But this time I don't need it, I'm right on the mark
Yeah I declared my prerogative
To alternate between what is heavy and what is light
Now feel the weight, the weight of the world
So gonna lay down my head
Lay down my heart
I wanna lay down in your bed
And I won't tell a soul
And I won't tell a soul
I won't tell a soul
Everybody says, she's got it easy
But she's dark, straight to her soul
She's got the kind of trouble
That it's hard to tell another
Because they think that you're jaded, or you're spoiled
Well dirty Daisy she's not crazy

I won't tell a soul

"now that's a cracker."
i love the title of this song.
this is cracker?
Is it a coincidence that this came on right after Tom Petty? I think not.
Tom Petty's hobby group?
More Egg Shaker!

i take my lucy loose...
Wow. He's trashed his vocal chords, hasn't he? Sad.
Sweet.
Downloaded this CD from itunes yesterday...very interesting for this long-time Crackerhead
Does sound very Lou Reedish
My favourite of this album is Sidi Ifni! This one is O.K.

I understand his intent, it's the delivery that fails to move me.

I don't think I've ever heard vocals so completely devoid of emotion. Uninspiring and deadening music.

yeah, sounds like he's reading this off of cue cards.

Man, I'd like Cracker even if they did rap....
I just love their sound..... the 'off kilter' vocals just make it better for me... kind of the way Neil Young's "singing" makes his music....
Like the instrumentation - don't particularly like the vocals
Good Sh*t
Lou Reedish? Fluffy Lou Reedish? Hmmm...
