AC3 filter that is distorting your sound. These

This song was recorded on a low budget for an indie label in 1993.
I don't think Auto-Tune software even existed then, but if it did it was in its infancy and probably wasn't used here.

Probably one of Canadas best exports (especially in the blues) They were great to see live lots of great slide guitar and funky bass
man, solid 6. it'd be so much higher if he didn't sing. For me, his voice clashes with the blues guitar.

They take a raw, heavy, almost punk approach to bluesy rock. They lack they eclecticism of Big Sugar, but I like the album for what it is. Half the songs are re-workings of Big Sugar tunes, so it remains to be seen whether Gordie Johnson has run out of ideas or is simply recharging his batteries.

Quite nicely too... haven't really heard that hybrid in this style before (only person I can think of who crosses over the genres would be G Love..specifically on the 'Electric Mile' album)

I listen to Big Sugar down here in Austin and have many years. (I was introduced to it by a Torontoan). I've seen his new band Grady a dozen or more times. They're great, but I don't imagine it is RP style music. A little too loud and heavy.

Wow, I have this album and I loved it when it came out. Didn't think anyone even heard of 'em much less RP playing them. Good call DJ. For a bunch of white boys in Canada (and one black guy) these guys have some good rock/blues.
My sister introduced me to this band. She used to work at a radio station in Colorado (KFMU I think were the call letters). She sold ads. She was able to get a lot of the promo stuff and send them to me. A lot of it was crap, but this was a great surprise. I really like "I'm a ram" and "Sugar in my Coffee". Great stuff!
