Gospel music that kicks Satan's butt!
I wasn't really paying attention to RP--just doing some paperwork--but I found myself getting really annoyed. What the hell was that repetitive drone boring into my skull? Imagine my (lack of) surprise when I found out it was another generic U2 song. Beyond boring and into the annoying.
Generic and uninspiring. A 2, at best.
Very sick of the one song U2 keeps writing.
nice segue from big country. not sure yet if i like the song, tho! :?: :?: :?:
woops. didn't even recognize it. thought it was some half-cooked upstart.
I'm happy to see that i'm not the only one that thinks U2's artistic merit has reachd an impasse. they've produced some amazing material in the past, to be sure - but unlike the timelessness of, say, AC/DC (heh), U2's sound just doesn't seem to be carrying as well into the future...

Not to be an "old U2" snob, but it seems the boys music isn't aging so well, I'm afraid (they should be getting better, right?) :? 8O :? 8O :?
Right. I concur with everything you said. This is my least favorite song on the CD.
nuthin' but rehashed "Real Thing" from Achtung Baby. Also Bono's voice has probably never sounded worse. Heard some songs from "Boy" the other day, and it sounds way more real, honest and musically adventurous and advanced. Not to be an "old U2" snob, but it seems the boys music isn't aging so well, I'm afraid (they should be getting better, right?) :? 8O :? 8O :?

U2 Rocks!!!! This album, this song, all so far have been sounding great to me -- ordered and received it after hearing the teasers on RP. Love the boys, their music and their words. ....a good road trip CD indeed. Also, Love and Peace or else....
Big U2 fan. However, after listening to this disc a good bit over the weekend, I have to say that it's a pretty "hit or miss" affair. Some good songs, but just as many forgetable ones too. Maybe it will grow on me....
I may not be an expert, but all U2 songs sound too similar to me since two albums ago. I hope these LPs are not just a bad excuse to release another HITS albums in a couple of years

Where's the horrible cacophony emoticon? And why can't I rate this tune zero for eeeeeeeeeek this hurts my haid?
Obviously I'm not a lonely boy on this one, and RP still plays enough lovely music to keep us both happy.

Maybe if Bill plays enough U2, poor Tux will go to where all of the other U2 haters hang. Or is he the lonely boy on this one?? Too bad he can't appreciate U2. I love it.

Can Bono get away with rhyming 'voice' & 'choice' with 'tortoise'?

Still sulking over the girl who dumped ya for a U2 fan? Too bad. Great new album. 8)
1. I've never been dumped by a girl. 2. What a horrible way to start the day. Instant annoyance would have been a great title for this pile of junk. (I heared it again, since I started RP before the filter. U2 SUCKS!)

Nov 23 can't come soon enough!!!
Rockin'....but nothing extraordinary.

The '1' is mine. Besides that I don't like it, at all, I think we don't need still more of this on RP. We already have enough. OTOH, the more it's played, the more Pink Floyd I here because of station switching
cool...I didn't care for the last album, but this sounds better.
