How does it feel like,
to let forvever be?
How does it feel like,

Scream a symphony.
How does it feel like,

How does it feel like,
to make it happen here?
How does it feel like,

I know it is not Ringo, but there is one Beatles song that had a distinct double beat on the snare like this song. Cannot for the life of me find the name of the song.
There's always that one Beatles song that is in the dna of contemporary listenable music.
Sorry, Grammar Police here.
The phrase "How does it feel like" is wrong.
It should be "What does it feel like?", or "How does it feel?"
Also, it's a question, so there should be a question mark.
I'll let you go with a warning this time.

Of course you are critiquing Noel Gallagher, who wrote lyrics such as: "The sink is full of fishes / She’s got dirty dishes on the brain / And my dog’s been itchin’ / Itchin’ in the kitchen once again" and “I know a girl called Elsa / she's into Alka-Seltzer / She sniffs it through a cane on a supersonic train / And she makes me laugh / I got her autograph / She done it with a doctor on a helicopter / She's sniffin' in a tissue, sellin' the Big Issue”.
Personally I just focus on the beat. D'you know what I mean?

Tomorrow Never Knows
that would be a drum machine for sure

Why? People ask all the time: How do you feel? not What do you feel? When saying "what" the focus is on touching something, does it feel smooth or rough, etc. When saying "How" the focus is on how you feel on the inside - happy, sad, etc. So the question is How do you feel when you wake up in the sun? Not, What does the sun feel like when you wake up in it?
You proved my point with the first part of your comment. People ask "how do you feel?" not "How do you feel like." The lyrics ask "How does it feel like," which is incorrect. Your example of "What does the sun feel like..." doesn't match the context. "What does IT feel like...when you wake up in the sun," or however the second verse goes.
But like someone else mentioned, I'm just filing the whole bloody thing under poetic license and I'm done with it.

The phrase "How does it feel like" is still wrong. Sorry I can't help you understand that.
Nerdfact: Ringo Star played the drums
On this track? Or in life? Because I think most of us know about the second bit.
Nerdfact: Ringo Star played the drums
Where is the evidence to back up this claim? The beats do sound similar, but that doesn't mean much. The Fandom page for Tomorrow Never Knows claims that Beatles lawyers tried in vain to sue CB for using an unauthorized sample, but this is labeled as “citation needed”.
I was on the media list (only one for the actual that show) and when I went to the mix position, the security guy pretty much dragged me out of the venue.
Never a dull moment in the music biz and the feature article I was hired to do was likely the 'thinnest' 2800 words I ever wrote for the magazine.
I guess you're a great fisherman.
THANK YOU. Drives me nuts.
Maybe he's invoking the teenage girl colloquialism - "how does it feel, like, to, like, spend a little lifetime, like, sitting in the gutter? OMG!"
I suspect this is a deliberate choice of words.

How does that feel like?
If you, like, talk like the current young generation, like, it makes sense. Just like, add another comma. "How does it feel, like, to wake up in the sun?"
Done, and done.

The sentence could be read: "How does it feel? Like, to sail on the breeze." Taking issue with the punctuation of lyrics pulled from Google is rather petty, don't you think?

More likely, the Mancunian inflection of, 'How does it feel, like?' to appease the Oasis fans in the camp, like.
I'm not complaining, its wonderful stuff, but if I were one of them, I'd have a walk on do the twiddling and then I'd stand out front with the audience to see what my show looked like for the giggles.
was at a show a few weeks ago where I saw a famous dj climb up on the table with his equipment. the music just went on as if nothing happened. it was still a good party.

Maybe you are missing punctuation.

Often, saying "like" is a way to fill in awkward pauses in speech or to buy yourself some time while you think of what to say,

Geesh. There are LOTS of songs I love that contain horrible grammar ("Touch Me" by The Doors and "Grace for Saints and Ramblers" by Iron & Wine quickly come to mind). But if that's your only criterion to judge a song, I feel sorry for you.

This ^ , again!
But is it, like, important?
The Gallaghers wouldn't give a @*^k, and I don't either, really.
Oh that is nice! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5FyfQDO5g0
I'm pretty sure it's only so low because of the lyrics, especially the chorus. I know I just can't for the life of me get over the "How does it feel like" crap! Every time I hear the song it sounds worse and worse. Kind of irrational, I know, but I really can't help it!
It reminds me of "Tomorrow Never Knows".
Interesting....there may be something to that!
How does it feel, like, ....etc.
This would make more sense in a Northern way, which is where these boys are from, of course
But is it, like, important?

Ahem. If you're going to pick on grammar,
"Seriously, how would this song *be* in anyway changed...."
Or, alternatively,
"...how would this song *have been* in anyway changed...."
I feel fine Grammar Policing comments on the boards, but I just don't feel we can expect good grammar to coincide with things like cadence and rhyming schemes. This is music, not literature.
Unless we're listening to Elbow... Guy Garvey can sure pull it off!
That HAS to be a sampled drum track from "Tomorrow Never Knows"....which, of course, IS Ringo!
Nah, that's a different drum beat; maybe it's sampled, but not from that tune. It's blatantly obvious they were mimicking The Beatles on this tune - they weren't trying to hide it.
Geesh. There are LOTS of songs I love that contain horrible grammar ("Touch Me" by The Doors and "Grace for Saints and Ramblers" by Iron & Wine quickly come to mind). But if that's your only criterion to judge a song, I feel sorry for you.

I knew it reminded me of something else! Felt slightly confused for a few seconds...
Actually it would change it quite it a bit. As the first and most emphasized word in the much repeated phrase which is also extended in length, "How" is open phonetically making it a better word for such use. "Wha"t is closed at the end forcing the extented length to be on the short "a" vowel sound, which is less pleasent to hear at length then the "w" of "how". Grammatically a mess, but better sounding. So tell me, Which really matters in a song such as this?
Big fan of psychedelia here to tell ya this one is a near miss.
How does it feel like?? nah.
Gallagher = - 4
horrid grammar = -2
Spot on. We aren't all ignorant a#@*holes over here. Gallagher's "Take that look from off your face" is another fine example of quality phrasing. We seem to be venerating the dafties these days.
