Great live show. Saw them at a club in Toronto called The Opera House.
Getting strong Police vibes - especially the bass & drums. Which makes me like it even more!

Great to hear OT on RP. One of the most out there neoprog bands of the late 80s for sure. Interesting tidbit: when they were sitting around thinking of a name they came up with a hypothetical alien breakfast cereal, " Ozric Tentacles".
GREAT!! I had never heard of them prior to RP. Now, the more I hear it, the more I like it! Thank You RP!
Pretty good!

Let's try begin with Erpland... then maybe try a slip to Jurassic Shift... then... how lucky you are, blotto! :)
Except for missing all the gigs. Best of times. And one of the best bands to smoke a big J to while getting your trousers flapped around by the bass.

Well, it is busy. No lack of notes.
Now I know where Shpongle got their inspiration! Great stuff.
Bass sounds very Sting-y. That's a good thing. I kept thinking they'd launch into a Police tune.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Saw them 15-20 years ago in Toronto, at a club called the Opera House, on Queen Street. Great show!
Was surprised to find I'd rated this a 3.
1 it should be and 1 it is.

Ho yeah! Great zippity doo dah to my day.
Jammin'!!!!
Amazing bass by Roly Wynne; sad that we lost him so early...
That is some serious Stewart Copeland-like drumming there.

RP has habit of doing this for me. Gems everywhere, humble pie-eating as I didn't know squat about music, in all honesty. Let's support the station as much as we can.

looks like roger dean cover art
Someone's been listening to Zenyatta Mondatta.
When prog was FUN!
Except the song isn't Iscense. That's a reggae-infused tune from the same album.
This was Erpland, the title track.

6.3 crowdsource seems really low for this. For me, it's an '8' right out of the chute and only gets better from there.

Very good track from an great of an excellent band!
Erpland, Jurassic Shift, Pixel Dream (and a part of Coily) is my Top 3 of the OT.
God bless you, Bill!

Et cette ligne de basse !
Thanks A LOT, BILL!

Well, in Poacher mansions, Dub plays a lot. . . and I mean a LOT. From late 60s to brand spliffing new.
It is still being produced in quantity and quality. . . you just have to know where to look.
Dub like this makes me want to roll a stiff spliff and crack a can of Red Stripe . You hear too little of dub music these days, sadly. 8 from the Nottingham jury.

Wow these guys are still putting out CD's although this is 20 years old? Very nice.
Might this be Maná's counterpart in English?
groooooooooves really so muuuuuuuuch
Very nice set today, could not be better for me! Thanx!
Wow, that's pretty rhythmic (ska?) compared to OT stuff I have heard.
Like it a lot!
What year is this album from? Is this a new groove for OT?

Perfect listening for when your mate's just given you some Albanian weed....
Oh - how Wundervoll!
yyyeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeesssssssssss!!!
Merci, Bill !!! Made my day! Not my favorite one but, well, it's OT indeed.
This is their best album but I guess the worse track. Nevertheless, it deserves a good 8.

Not their best, but still quite likeable. Good working music.
I love OT, but this track bores me.
THE OCTOPUS
Tell me, O Octopus, I begs
Is those things arms, or is they legs?
I marvel at thee, Octopus;
If I were thou, I'd call me Us.

Hmmmm...I sense a really good run of tunes by Bill coming on!
Oh yes, back on the beach, rum in hand, suntanned babes all around - dream on!

AKA Ostrich Testicles - great band. I saw them live in 93, they also did an excellent DJ set called EatStatic with ribcage-vibrating bass.

I hear it and think of Madness "One Step Beyond", but that's just me. Cool tune, regardless.
Probably the most diverse OT album.
Certainly my favourite one.

Wow-- I was starting to think I was the only one into Ozric! Great to hear them on RP.
Though this foray into reggae isn\'t their best... Play Holohedron!
Great live show. Saw them at a club in Toronto called The Opera House.
You lucky duck! I wish I was there!
