Oh my sugar she won't bend
Fly with me
On your love she will depend
Fly with me, my love

When you're down, feeling low
Not quite paid for not quite sold
And they all have got you tricked
And the world has made you thick

My love she dreams
And she sleeps with broken faces inside
Cold water runs deep
When she sleeps with broken faces

I can wonder, she can see
I roll over, she will breathe
All the others make you smile
Just lay back girl don't drive for a while

My love she dreams
And she sleeps with broken faces inside
Cold water runs deep
When she sleeps with broken faces

Oh my sugar she won't bend
Fly with me
On my love she will depend
Fly with me

My love she dreams
And she sleeps with broken faces inside
Cold water runs deep
When she sleeps with broken faces

Oh my sugar she won't bend
Fly with me

I like Tonic. Don’t care what anyone says.
Best radio station I've ever come across, especially the Rock Mix
Thick. It's heavy, it ROCKS
I find myself going back to this album often. Underappreciated band, except on RP.
i love this album. i miss these guys.

something very sexy about this music.
RP is the best station out there, my wife and I listen to it all the time...
Groovy man, thanks
Good Tune!

i agree
One of the 3 T's from the mid 90s.
Tonic, Train, Toadies
Good mid 90's Alt Rock...7
My ears give this more than 4.9.  Bit harsh.

Steve Ballmer? is that you?
Yeah, sounds like zeppelin (especially vocals) or soundgarden. I like it, nice orangy-shimmering-dark sound, it rocks.
I LOVE THIS RADIO STATION

My guess from the comments that this would go down better accompanied by a few shots of gin and a lime.
...or maybe some 'ludes and red wine. No, wait, that's for Zeppelin...
Caught this one fresh off the press in 96 (or 95) and thought it was awesome. I can't remember how many times I have recommended it to friends. Nor can I remember how many time I've been asked to burn the CD for them. The whole album is a real treat.

sounds kinda like a bar-band doing their best imitation of David Coverdale doing his best Robert Plant impersonation.
i'm a little suprised that the median score is under 5. i can't hear how it misses the mark, either sonically, or as an attempt to flatter maybe the best hard rock band ever. :?:

it's just this song, i swear.
You are correct--According to emerson Heart--this was a tribute to Zep--One time thing--ashame it ended up here--There's so much better stuff out there from these guys.
attractive :umbrella.gif:
Compressed Robert Plant. Ack :(
I can't wait until the next song.

these guys are great. they did a song called flower man on an x files album. it was one of my favorites. heh.
Pretty nice guitars there. and the song is good.
love that guitar...hard is good...makes for a nice contrast
Tonic is a novelty but after a few zip, it makes you sick of the aftertaste...

No, not exactly Zep-like. Sounds more like Ozzy, especially in the chorus. Sexy song, either way. :goodvibes:
Exactly what I was thinking. Ozzy. Oh boy.

"Refreshing"? I thought this *was* Led Zep until I looked at the playlist. Talk about refreshing...
Mm, there just isn't that much you can change about rock 'n' roll without it loosing the right "feel", so in that respect it's kinda refreshing. Though, on second thought, not that much I'm glad, though, this sort of distorted guitar sound is still able to grab me.

I have to say I like it. It has Zepplin aspects to it. The drumming is great. It's good to hear a band that doesn't have the typical rap-ish drumming that a lot of music currently has
....ponderous....derivative.....
It\'s catchy -- just like the kids like -- turn the gain up all the way and barre every chord. You too can play this song with one guitar lesson.
dot likes lemonade parade. and this to. god knows why. dot.
I think these guys played in the basement of my frat house back in my college days.....
Make it stop! Started out ok but I started freaking out towards the end...
Wow. I totally thought this was a Zeplin song I had never heard. Only to browse to RP site to find it is Tonic. Interesting.
Sure the vocals sound ala Led Zep at times, but that\'s the only resemblance here. The distorted guitars and the entire arrangement don\'t sound ANYTHING like Led Zep when you listen to the piece in it\'s entirety. Especially the drums.
Can\'t say I ever care to hear this again.

This rekes with potential. Dot
A skillfully executed imitation or, do they view Zepp as the only approach to rock? This ain\'t classical music, guys.

It can still be exciting, a distorted guitar. At least when it sounds like this one. Yes, of course it\'s got the Stones (the \'Soul Survivor riff\') Black Sabbath (the chorus) and most of all Led Zeppelin in it. But they use all that in a refreshing way and their precursors can be called anything but refreshing, these days.
One of the most underrated rock bands around today IMO. Saw these guys at Irving Plaza (downtown NY) right around the time this came out. Solid, heavy, tight live performance. Very nice. This is a great album.
sounds a lot like Crack the Sky - pretty cool. nice to hear something with (at least) a little bite to it every now and then. :)
VIVA Led Zeppelin! What? This ain\'t a Zep B-Side?
