Head's all empty and I don't care
Saw my baby down by the river
Knew she'd have to come up soon for air
Sweet blossom come on under the willow
We can have high times if you'll abide
We can discover the wonders of nature
Rolling in the rushes down by the riverside
She's got everything delightful
She's got everything I need
Takes the wheel when I'm seeing double
Pays my ticket when I speed
She come skimming through rays of violet
She can wade in a drop of dew
She don't come and I don't follow
Waits backstage while I sing to you
She can dance a Cajun rhythm
Jump like a Willys in four wheel drive
She's a summer love in the spring, fall and winter
She can make happy any man alive
Sugar Magnolia
Ringin' that blue bell
Caught up in sunlight
Go on out singing
I'll walk you in the sunshine
Come on honey, come along with me
She's got everything delightful
She's got everything I need
A breeze in the pines in the summer night moonlight
Crazy in the sunlight, yes indeed
Sometimes when the cuckoo's crying
When the moon is halfway down
Sometimes when the night is dying
I take me out and I wander 'round
I wander 'round
Sunshine daydream
Walkin' in the tall trees
Goin' where the wind goes
Blooming like a red rose
Breathing more freely
Light out singing
I'll walk you in the morning sunshine
Sunshine daydream
Walk you in the sunshine
Not a deadhead... my introduction to them was via the "Gratefully Deadicated" album (go figure) but I do have this to say... I went to Stone Mountain in the 90s when they were playing Atlanta. Just to "see the scene" ya know? And the whole thing about good feelings, love, respect, etc you hear about those folks (dead-heads) are in my opinion totally true. Never before or since have I been somewhere where every person I saw and talked to made me glad I had. Over and over again I was impressed with the genuine people that were part of that scene.
Love is a hell of a drug.
Also. drugs are a hell of a drug.
Nah. You're just getting older! ;p
Great tune.
Take one part bluegrass
Add a heaping helping of country
Add rock and roll
Throw in a dash of R & B
Touch off with jazz and improvisation
A true American Band!
Listening to popular studio Dead songs will show one side of this band. Listening to the more complicated live "songs" where they blend from one to another seamlessly will provide a different experience.
Uhhhh...
Don't forget the dash (heaping) of hallucinogenics!

There is much that you do not understand. Starting with grammar.
Sounds so paternalistic.
Mine too. My dog's name is Sugar Magnolia (Maggie) and I have a tattoo of the album cover rose.
I knew a Psyche major who wrote her thesis on Pavlovian conditioning. Her name was Isabelle Wringing.
...I'll get my ushanka.
Arf! That's so silly :o)
However, I concur with the justin4kick's feelings - the first notes of a Dead song have me reaching for PSD, whence I am truly grateful. Eat your heart out, Pavlov.

That is reproachable, Poacher.
There, suitably fixed.
I start looking for my bong
Oh that's good!
Love them or hate them, the Dead was an incredible institution. I was never a member, haven't done drugs for decades, but still really love most of their music for all kinds of reasons.

It's possible that Brian Wilson may have been on more drugs than these guys.
Love it... we be dancing...
Sugar tastes a lot better than steel.

This comment made me remember an old friend.
Sambo lived the life and followed the band. He was a true friend, and a sojourner in this life.
Here's to you, old friend. We'll meet again, and the next time will be better.

Whoa- I didn't think those kind of differences could be bridged.
Now I wonder if all that stuff about the Sino- Soviet split was just a bunch of crap?
In this spirit I reach out to all my Muslim brothers and ask that you don't blow up my house.

Works for me...
Make that 3! This is really bad.
