I like it...7 on my first listen... when I don't like something I tend to keep my mouth shut... why put more bad vibes out there?

I've never thought of rating a song negatively because I personally don't like it.  That'd be like giving some Chinese restaurant a bad review not because they did anything wrong, but because I just don't like Chinese food.  Whats' the point of me telling the other people dining, enjoying their meals, that I just don't care for Chinese food?

This sounds generic in pretty much all ways. Meandering vocals with the voice from Passenger, the dullest riff you forget as soon as the song is over, and then it just gets louder at the end in a feeble attempt to break the boredom up to that point. The lyrics are full of cliches, so it's not like he had something to say. Why did he make this song?

I like this.
If that's Matt on the Album, he has what my Wife would call a "Cornish Face" ;  black curly hair, blue eyes and a red beard. Her Dad was Cornish. So, I always think of him when I hear this, nothing to do with the music, I guess I'm just feeling mawkish this morning.

“Why did he make this song?” While I don’t know the cat, personally, I would argue that’s a rather inane question - but I could be wrong.
He probably made that song because he wanted to, presumably and secondly, because he could. I’m also guessing he made it with little regard for your opinions. The song will likely please somebody, help somebody through a rough patch and it may just tickle someone’s fancy. To that I say, ‘right on.’
