I, I might have known
This would be
Just another rainbow

I, I walk the Earth
I search the sky
Just another rainbow

No pot of gold
Waiting here for me

Just another rainbow
Hanging over me
Just another rainbow
Dripping on my tree

I'm out of control
Half of the hole
Just another rainbow

Paying the bills
Am I your windmill?

Just another rainbow
Hanging over me
Just another rainbow
Dripping on my tree

Red and orange, yellow and green
Blue, indigo, violet

We've crossed a line

Just another rainbow
Hanging over me
Just another rainbow
Dripping on my tree

Wow, bet there were some very late nights in the pitch correction department on this one.

Patsy Kensit stated that she cried every day of the 3 years she was married to Liam. Don't be a masochist, Patsy.

The music on this song, especially the guitar, is far better than the singing...the lyrics are pretty lame and the way they are sung drags everything down.  They just don't complement the music at all, during the guitar solo it's a much better song.

As for William's comment about the "notorious Liam Gallagher"...I was upgraded on a flight once that had a minor delay.  One of the other passengers started griping about how important they were and that the plane should just leave, and then they and their entourage stormed off.  That meant a delay for the rest of us while their luggage was pulled off, and then we left and landed almost on time (tail wind for the win!).  During the flight I told the attendant that I was sorry they were subjected to that, and they told me it was Gallagher, whose attitude meant they got there far later than if they had just been a little bit patient.  He might make music people enjoy, but it sounds like he doesn't enjoy people who don't do everything he wants.

from everything I've read about him, he seems like a twat!
Paul McCartney bass line
stop singin thru yer nose ya whiny lil putz!
Brit pop will be back again in '25 for some things. They reunited. We are allowed to be excited.
Liam Gallagher, such an annoying voice, such an annoying twat!!!
Playing this immediately after "Tomorrow Never Knows" only serves to show this for the thin gruel it is by comparison with the source material.
Solid
Another first for me here on RP.  Nice rock track.  I noted, before reading the artist bio, that this track sounded a lot like Stone Roses.  Which is a good thing.  Then I read the last line of the bio, now I know why it did.  I'm gonna start it with a 7.
When will this end
Noel has moved on from Oasis.  Liam hasn't.

Jeez, this gets worse with every listen.

John Squire was the Stone Roses guitarist hence the Roses influence.
Doesn't float my boat, boys.  This doesn't gel at all to my ears.  Feels like they never met.
A big fat no from here my friends..

Liam is 100% scumbag of the highest order IMO, regardless of whether his voice is a whining horrorshow
Stereophonics do it better.
a case of 2+2=1

Fountains of Wayne lives!
It took a while before it became obvious to me that he's not singing about just another A-bomb.

Some pretty excellent guitar work on this one.
Liam's voice is good here, and I adore John's incendiary guitar work in this...especially the part where he teases a few bars of his immortal "Love Is The Law..." Now, I'm gonna dig out my old Seahorses CD and turn it up loud!
He enjoys The Stone Roses clearly.
There's something about Liam's nasal and snotty delivery that just works for me. Bro Noel, while a tremendous songwriter, doesn't quite have that level of lead vocal oomph.
John Squire's guitar is on fire on this. Great tune.
The Beatles did it better!
Inane and boring.
Well I like it. Always Beatle-esque. And that's good.
Sounds little like Elephant Stone.
One of the worst lyrics ever penned: Just another rainbow dripping on my tree.

Cringe
Wow! There's still some fresh psychedelia nouveau to be had. He and John Squire of the Stone Roses tour throughout the UK this year: https://www.liamgallagher.com/

Ok. I like it. Remember, Liam was the singer of Oasis. This is how he sings. He talks with a strong Cockney accent and sings almost with the same but nasal delivery. The song is decent. Remember Noel wrote almost all of Oasis's tunes. So Liam's new venture won't be as good. But there is a great bass throughout just like all the Oasis tunes. No Beatles comparisons on this one either. And I like the lead guitar.

His accent is Mancunian dude.  East London is a long way from Manchester.
I'll quote, with pleasure, the opening lines of a recent review in a British newspaper:
"Is it a crowing seagull? Is it a malfunctioning fighter jet? No, it;s the dulcet tones of Liam Gallagher, singing 'IIIIIIIII, I might have knooooowwwwwn' - the opening line of what sounds like the same song he's written a thousand times before, each of which he's sung a thousand times after that.
What's a thousand times a thousand? Too much. As are the five long minutes of 'Just Another Rainbow', this new single from everyone's favourite hooligan, featuring guitar playing and co-writing from The Stone Roses' guitarist John Squire.
Anguished singing! Spangling guitars! Chord sequences that sound like the smell of stale cigarette smoke on a denim jacket!
If your neighbour were playing this in his garage, you'd think it was quite decent"
(Emiy Bootle, the i newspaper, Jan 2024)

he needs to find some new vocal chords and an original bass player.
Dunno about all the hate, this is a solid 7 from me
Nope

Cracker solo, Mr. Squire!
I challenge you guitarists in the crowd to crank it with good headphones and not "guitar face" as you cross the 3 minute mark onward.
Thanks for your continued great curation, William and Team!
You're my wonder-WAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL ...
Very distinct voice that guy. The same guy that said Oasis would be bigger then the Beatles. LOL And look what band he is not singing for.
One chord and one syllable is all it takes to tell that this is a Liam Gallagher song.
sounds great - love John Squire!
This wouldn't have sounded out of place fifty years or more ago.  Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.
Love Liam, sounds great
