So bow your heads
In the absence of bombs
Draw your breath
Dark, dark places shall be none
She's melting houses of gold
And the kids cry out
We're spitting off the edge of the world
Out in the night
Never had no chance
Nowhere to hide
Spitting off the edge of the world
Out comes the sun
Never had no chance
Nowhere to run
Mama, what have you done?
I trace your steps
In the darkness of one
Am I what's left?
Silver lines whisper to me
Wounded arms must carry the load
And the kids cry out
We're spitting off the edge of the world
Out in the night
Never had no chance
Nowhere to hide
We're spitting off the edge of the world
Nowhere to run
Never had no chance
Out comes the sun
Spitting off the edge of the world
Winds from the sky
Never had no chance
Will watch us rise
I really dig the creativity and fearless evolution of this group. Seems like they are mastering the game at the moment; hot sparks! and good for them, they deserve it, and Good Heavens, how I love the wild and pithy punch of >HER VOICE<
everything you just stated
Reminds me of Future Islands
Might be why I like it so much
So they had a chance? Sounds like things weren't all that bad.

A pre-release single is an industry norm...can we just all get over it? It's become the RP comment board equivalent of saying "have a nice day" after a store purchase. It's pointless and mundane...
Let's all make a pact to discuss the music, emotions and our relationship with art of the musicians...
um, needs more cowbell
Me likey!
Spitting Off the Edge of the World might work if the flat-earthers are right - but would it be possible to spit at escape velocity? Would it stay together at those speeds? So many questions...
Maybe I should just enjoy this tune...

I liked this song the first time I heard it, unfortunately I've now heard it about four dozen times in the past few weeks. Every time I get in my car, it's always being played on a certain satellite radio station. Now it's here on RP. Ugh.
Liked the song and artists. But after continuous airplay on RP, it prompts me to do the dishes.

Hearing music from the future is one of the main reasons i listen to Radio Paradox...

I vividly remember where I will be on the release date.

And we get to hear it first!
Sometimes you just can't explain why a song touches you. This is one of those.
Especially those songs that touch you inappropriately.
