Watch the shadows dance upon the ceiling
Shimmering eyes recognize no feelings
There is a silent blitzkrieg coming closer
The change of light shows another day is over
In dreams we're all closer
To be caught in between
isolation and dreams
I'm sedated and free from it all
all, all, all
to be caught in between
Shimmering eyes recognize no feelings
There is a silent blitzkrieg coming closer
The change of light shows another day is over
In dreams we're all closer
To be caught in between
isolation and dreams
I'm sedated and free from it all
all, all, all
to be caught in between

no comparison to (early) My Morning Jacket or Fleet Foxes yet? hmm..

I wonder what they are going to sound like when they turn into the choir of old-age atheists.

This kind of dreamy, slowly loping pace and casual lyrics make this an easy 9 for me.
If Denmark had half the GUMPTION of these guys, DK would be heaven on earth.

Thanks CoYB.

I'm not sure they will be welcomed into the ranks... NoEnzLefttoSplit wrote:

The solo part reminded me a bit of Steely Dan and then the next song was SD 😀 might be a coincidence...
Good sound

Loved this song, never heard of it/the band before. Sneaky Great, the song's chords and arrangement is subtly evolving through the song, constantly growing. Not the same chord progressions and flourishes every verse/chorus. Brilliant.
Thought, on hearing the opening, it was 3rd gen. Baby Blue. You know: Them; Beck; etc.

There is a silent blitzkrieg coming closer,
Popeye sits in thunder,
Unthought of.
A note was pinned to his bib.
"Snafu''
And tears are unavailing.

Remember when albums used to include toys? like crackerjacks?
Is the cover art upside down? Strange image. I am viewing on the iPhone app.

I really like this, great vocals and the organ and bass has kind of a Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (circa "Let love In") thing going on.
Definitely Talk Talk. Upped it to 8. Great band.

Hi Fred, glad to see you are around. I love the theme to The Bridge and the new series is excellent, well worth watching it anyone who can access it through TV or the BBC iPlayer. I always wondered who had done the title music, I see that it is Hollow Talk and Bill has already played it! Well play it more instead of sedated please.
An 8 for this track....... and 100++ for The Bridge... what to do until series 3 comes around late next year?

For UK-based listeners, the second series of the Danish-Swedish crime drama The Bridge will be on BBC4 tonight and for the next 5 weeks or so. The haunting theme tune is by Choir of Young Believers, whom I'd not known were Danish until Bill announced it just now. RP does have a thing about Scandinavians. You don't have Viking genes do you, Bill?

Excellent!!
That got me sedated..
I like it! Fresh sound and catchy hook. (But isn't that what hooks are for?)

Very cool
Nice—but low rotation, please.
I loved "Hollow Talk", The theme for the great Scowegian TV series "The Bridge". This is "intriguing" too. Good to see a group trying something completely different.

Another nice discovery, and all the travels going along. Starting now with the digging/listening!

It kind of works. Even though I don't particularly like the singers voice or the tone of the instruments, the song has a good flow to it. Strange.

What was the name of the brewery? Wagnerian?
