Let me take you to the movie
Can I take you to the show?
Let me be yours ever truly
Can I make your garden grow?

From the houses of the holy
We can watch the white doves go
From the door comes Satan's daughter
And it only goes to show
And you know

There's an angel on my shoulder
In my hand, a sword of gold
Let me wander in your garden
And the seeds of love I'll sow
You know

So the world is spinnin' faster
Are you dizzy when you stall?
Let the music be your master
Will ya heed the master's call?
Oh-whoa, save me, man

Said, there ain't no use in crying
'Cause it will only, only drive you mad
Does it hurt to hear them lying?
Was this the only world you had? Oh-whoa

So let me take ya, take ya to the movies
Can I take ya, baby, to the show?
Why don'tcha let me be yours ever truly?
Can I make your garden grow?
And you know, that's right

Good song but not the best on the album, it ain't no Kashmir. I gave it an 8
There is not a song of the EAGLES like this one ?? At the same time I mean
I always thought the lyric was - "We can watch the white girls go, from the door of Satan's doorway"...
This is a lot better than U think. Tongue in Cheek song.

Yeah, only a 7 for me, usually classic Zeppelin would get an 8 or higher from me.

A bit tedious.  Maybe a couple of extra chords to give it some savour?

Appropriate use of cow bell too.  Subtle.

LZ after "III" has not aged well for me.  It sounds plodding and ... well, old.   This is not helped by my hearing a LZ tribute band on the weekend - playing in a park bandshell.  (They're called Zed Leppelin.)   Man.   I thought I'd never again hear "Stairway to Heaven" played live.  I was wrong.

Quuen, Sheer Heart Attack: album of that name released in 1974, but the song Sheer Heart Attack didn't appear until 1977, when it came out on News of the World. Man, that feels like a nerdy answer...

I'm not generally one for sweeping proclamations, but I think Zeppelin holds up as well or better than any band from that or any other era. In short, I think they define rock and roll.

I knew a guy who was a manager at a Blockbuster/whatever it was called before bought out. He was working the desk one day when a kid came in asking about new music...did, perchance my friend know any of the newer bands? "Yes", he said, "Who do you need to know about?" "Some new band called Led Zepplin" the kids says,, "Do you carry any CDs by them?" "You are kidding, right?" "What?"

This album has been in my cd player in my car, and whenever the radio disgusts me (which is pretty constant) on this goes. Great driving song. Easy to get carried away. Especially in my WRX!
Yum! This song says "I just got a pass to leave school early and go sell ads for the school paper. But I'm going to buy some beer and go burn one with some friends..."

I don't claim to know all the LZ songs, but they seem to always light up the air when they arrive; even those from "Pysical Graffiti."
