Prodigal_SOB wrote: When you reply to a post the quoted part from the original post is just put into your edit buffer automatically but once there you can edit just like any other part of your reply. To speed things up Bill removed a lot of older posts a few months ago. The response to your original post was apparently recent enough to still be here while yours was too old and was purged. If you can't get Bill to roll back all the old posts you could reply to the misquoted post whith a what I realy said was "...." if you like.

But you're original comment is still down below the new post!
EDIT:(I just noticed that neither of us has "replied" to and modified your original comment - that might have been more illustrative!)

I was listening to a tune and reviewed one of my song comments from about two years past. Some one replied and changed the wording of my comment. It is not a big deal but I was wondering how this is possible? I can't and would not do that to someone elses post. I know that Bill and the RP staff can but I would think they would not, they would just delete a comment as they have the right to if it is not acceptable. I'm curious. This is such a cool forum with the song comment and review capabilities, how can someone make the changes without logging on as me?
