I started said Twitter to give RP free publicity because I love the music here and thought others on Twitter should know about it. Apparently it was a good thing because there were quite a few followers.

It's over now Bill has the name and I've moved on but some have not and I hope that this will stop further hate because that is not what I am about.

However, it was quite a frustrating process trying to find out who owned the account. Twitter doesn't provide any way to contact anyone unless they're folowing you, and numerous attempts to make contact via Twitter tech support were unsuccessful. Their tech support is quite dreadful, actually. 

As for your email address, 14 people in our database have variations on "rpfan" or "radioparadisefan" as their email address, so that's not as obvious a route as you might think. 

So, yeah, I did feel like celebrating when we finally snagged the ID. Given the message I posted, I'm surprised anyone hassled you. Hopefully they'll cut that out.

As for taking down that tweet, I don't see any easy way to do that.

But, and this is where TweetDeck comes in handy, there are several users, whether real people or entities (like our local paper), whose tweets come in bunches and waves and they clutter up the stream of people I actually care about. And yeah, I know I can unfollow.
